The Role of the Electron in Batteries and Fuel Cells

Abstract

The report briefly summarizes the author's research results obtained in four different areas of electrochemical research: photo-emission of electrons from electrodes immersed in aqueous solution; electrocatalysis by anions adsorbed on electrodes; electrochemical theory; and membrane bio- electrochemistry. In all four areas, significant and novel contributions have been made.
