Luminous Stars in the Northern Milky way. 2
Abstract
The publication is the second of a series of catalogues presenting the results of a joint survey, by the Hamburg and Warner and Swasey Observatories, of early-type stars of high luminosity in the northern Milky Way. The historical origins and intended scope of the survey are discussed in the first number of the series. The boundaries, in right ascension and declination or in galactic longitude and latitude, of the area surveyed for the present catalogue are given by the solid-line boundaries on the charts following the catalogue.
