Abstract
The paper is a discussion of the unstable gravitational effect of sedimentary deposites in the middle Dnieper slope of the Ukrainian shield. The stated problem is presented in the form of a simple model, which is approximated by a series of horizontally occurring prisms with infinite extension of the upper horizontal and lower sloping margins.
