Spectral Determination of Small Amounts of Arsenic (Hundreths and Thousandths of a Percent) in Molybdic Products,

Abstract

The report describes a rapid, direct, and sufficiently precise method for the spectrographic analysis of arsenic in molybdic products of variable composition. Specifically, such products include a molybdic hydrometallurgical concentrate which is calcined molybdenum trisulfide obtained during the processing of scheelite-molybdic middings by the autoclave-soda method. The determination of arsenic in molybdic products is of the greatest importance because such products are frequently rejected precisely because of the arsenic content. (Author)
