Subsonic Wind Tunnel Facilities,

Abstract

Subsonic facilities available at the Naval Ship Research and Development Center (NSRDC) include two 8- by 10-foot general-purpose wind tunnels, a 15- by 20-inch research wind tunnel, and a vertical test facility. This report describes these facilities, some of the associated test support equipment, and the personnel services available at NSRDC. Procedures are included to indicate how potential users may arrange for test and analysis services. (Author)
