Calculation of Physical Properties of Co-operative Assemblies.

Abstract

This seven part report is concerned with a detailed study of the susceptibility of the Ising model. Extensive series data above and below the critical temperature for two and three dimensional lattices are derived. This data permits elucidation of the critical behavior of the susceptibility and theoretical accounting for the salient properties of the coefficients in terms of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic singularities. Methods are developed for deriving the number of self avoiding rings on a lattice and these are used to obtain new data on high temperature specific heat expansions which lead to a more precise knowledge of the specific heat singularity in three dimensions.
