Cyclic Strength of Titanium Alloys,

Abstract

Results of fatigue and corrosion fatigue tests of certain titanium alloys, materials that show promise in transport ship building, are presented. Tests for low cyclic fatigue in a corrosive environment revealed marked reduction in longevity of notched specimens. (Author)
