Electron Structure and Physical Properties of Some Sulfides of d-Transition Metals,

Abstract

The conductivity and thermoelectromotive force of a number of chalcogenide phases of titanium, zirconium, hafnium, and thorium were investigated. From the results, it follows that for the sulfides of titanium the transition from metallic to semiconductor properties is developed at a greater S/metal(Me) ratio than for the sulfides of zirconium, hafnium and thorium.
