Method of Determining the Thermoelectrical Quality Factor of the Thermobattery (Sposob Opredeleniya Termoelectricheskoi Dobrotnosti Termobatarei),
Abstract
The scope of the invention concerns the transformation of thermal energy into electrical energy. A well known method of determining the quality factor of the thermoelectrical thermobattery results in taking separate measurements of thermoelectrical parameters. The measurement of each of these characteristics becomes a tedious and time consuming process, especially in the determination of heat conductivity. The proposed method differs by the fact that the temperature measurements at the thermojunctions and the output voltage of the thermobattery in the operational conditions, with an external load and under no load conditions, are carried out under constant heat current.
