Abstract

The report concerns the process by which 'sort-run' economic policy has been made in Mexico. In analyzing this policy, the following questions were focused upon: What information is available to policymakers; What instruments do they actually maipulate; What is the relation between this information, the instruments manipulated, and the state of the economy.
