Bimetal Rolled Goods,

Abstract

The properties and areas of use of bimetal rolled goods, steel-nonferrous metals, are presented. The following are considered: the results of theoretical and experimental study of the process of combined rolling with plastic deformaltion of heteorogeneous metals; the peculiarities of the bonding of metals; the effect of technological factors on the adhesive strength of the layers; the mechanical and operating properties of bimetals. Technological and equipment parameters for production of bimetals by fagot or foll methods in a hot, warm, or cold state are presented. Methods of quality control of the bimetal rolled goods are described.
