Studies of Giant M. Stars.
Abstract
Systematic differences in spectral classifications of giant M stars in the Case and the Mt. Wilson systems are evaluated. The space distribution of gian M stars is determined in four regions of the sky. Empirical formulas describing the space distribution of late-type M giants are presented. (Author)
