On the Classification, Distribution, and Interpretation of Solar Microwave Burst Spectra and Related Topics.

Abstract

The report discusses the classification, distribution, and interpretation of the peak flux-density spectra of solar radio bursts in decimenter-centimeter range (1m to 1cm). It is based on observations at discrete frequencies between 245 and 35000 MHz taken at the Sagamore Hill Radio Observatory, Hamilton, Mass., through the years 1966-1969. The peak flux-density spectra of over 2000 radio bursts were used in this investigation. (Author)
