Abstract

All known space vehicles launched before 1 January 1972, excluding satellites in geocentric orbits, are tabulated here. Details are given of mass, size, shape, orbit, time of launch and other useful information. The table is divided into five sections, under the headings (A) Heliocentric orbits, (B) Orbits in the Earth-Moon system, (C) Selenocentric orbits - Earth launch, (D) Selenocentric orbits - Moon launch, and (E) Areocentric orbits.
