Stability of Foundations on Clayey Ground in Regions with Deep Seasonal Freezing,

Abstract

The report concludes that, under the conditions of the Bratsk industrial power region, the loams of solid and stiffly plastic consistency near the buildings' foundations receive a supplemental wetting and they (the loams) experience frost heaving which can develop at depths down to 1.5 m.
