A Compiler for the Interactive Solution of Differential Equations.

Abstract

A digital simulation language for the interactive definition and solution of piece-wise continuous non-linear ordinary differential equations using the Runge-Kutta method has been designed and implemented. The combination of interactive graphics approach and a special differential equation describtion language make the analysis program very versatile and easy to use. For second order systems, a grid of phase trajectory segments over the user specified phase plane is used as a background for the solutions. (Author)
