The Use of Oxygen Seventeen Tracer Techniques in Studying Chemistry of Various Oxidizers.
Abstract
The following oxygen-17 labeled compounds have been prepared: NO(17), N2O(17), N2O3(17) and N2O(17). The oxygen-17 nmr spectrum and epr spectrum of some of these compounts have been obtained. After obtaining the 0-17 nmr spectra of the remaining compounds and the epr spectrum of the paramagnetic materials it will be possible to make structure assignments and correlations. Also presented are reports on the synthesis of fluoroperoxytrifluoromethane, the reaction of O4F2 and SO2, and the x-band epr spectra of N14O16, N14O17, and N14O18. (Author)
