Annals of the Dearborn Observatory of Northwestern University. Volume VII. Part 3,

Abstract

The present charts were prepared in connection with a study of the proper motions in the Orion Nebula Cluster, based upon plates taken with the Yerkes forty-inch refractor with a time interval of fifty years between first and second epoch plates. The positions for the quinox and epoch 1950.0, derived from the Yerkes plates, were used as positional standards in the present study, using the 1950 position of Theta Orionis (C) from the Boss General Catalogue of 33342 Stars as zeropoint.
