Movement of the 180 Degree Domain Boundary in Perovskite Ferroelectrics--Translation.

Abstract

The calculation for constructing a 90 degree boundary was given in another paper by two of the authors. The microscopic expression for correlation energy, dependent on the elastrostatic interaction of dipoles in a Perovskite lattice was found. It was shown that the 90 degree boundary represents a region of sufficiently smooth transition of the vector of polarization of width in certain lattice constants. In this work an analogous problem was posed for the 180 degree boundary. In addition, the lattice potential topography along which the boundary moves during lateral displacement was determined.
