RF Links for Ocean Data Stations.

Abstract

An experiment was conducted to provide data to compare with predicted path characteristics for frequencies in the 3 to 30 MHz oceanic telemetry band. Data obtained was for use in designing telemetry equipment for buoys at sea and for command receiving stations on shore. The receiving site was located in Hawaii; while the simulated buy-at-sea site was San Diego, California. (Author)
