Electrostatic Method of Calibrating Photoelectric Aerosol Particle Size Meters

Abstract

Both in the Soviet Union and abroad, however, visual and photoelectric devices for spectrum determination and aerosol concentration are well known; however, one of the most complex problems arising during research on aerosols while using these devices is their grading. The report suggests a method of graduating devices from 0.000008 to 0,0005 cm. The known effect of charged particle fall is used for this purpose as they pass through a flat condenser.
