Thermodynamic Properties of Liquid Solutions of the Copper-Magnesium System (Termodinamicheskie Svoistva Zhidkikh Rastvorov Sistemy Med-Magnii),

Abstract

The emf method was used for investigating the thermodynamic properties of liquid alloys of the magnesium-copper system. It was established that the system displays negative deviations from Raoult's law and the thermodynamic functions have pronounced symmetry, depending on composition. The thermodynamic properties of the alloys are compared with other magnesium systems used as ligatures for modifying cast iron. (Author)
