Solar Mapping at the Haystack Observatory on the Wavelength of 3.8 cm.

Abstract

The report discusses a program of solar mapping conducted at the Haystack Observatory in 1970-71. The technical problems encountered in data acquisition and reduction are considered in some detail, and the results presented in a set of 22 brightness-temperature and polarization maps of the solar disk. Preliminary comparisons are made of active region fluxes with polarization and with fluxes from the Stanford University 3.3 GHz Maps. (Author)
