Practical Control Theory for Distributed Systems,

Abstract

The basic difficulties in the synthesis of physically implementable controllers for distributed systems are discussed. A few possible directions for developing a practical control theory for distributed systems which takes these difficulties into consideration are presented. Some of the ideas are illustrated by simple examples. (Author)
