Abstract
The authors discuss the optimal size, shape and position of geometrical figures on the basis of data from which one can obtain the most areally reliable meteorological data and make most reliable meteorological predictions. The authors also discuss the degree of importance and specific effects of certain factors, mention the data available to them and discusses their line of reasoning. (Author)
