Abstract

The report reviews the research carried out at University College London on (1) the development and comparison of techniques for extending and improving wind and temperature measurement; (2) synoptic studies in the stratosphere and mesosphere; (3) winds and temperatures in the high-latitude winter thermosphere; and (4) atmospheric circulation.
