A Note on a Constant Ratio Elasticity of Substitution (CRES) Production Function,

Abstract

In the paper the author derives the values of the parameters that are consistent with convex isoquants in the positive quadrant by minimizing the cost of producing a stated output. The author shows the returns to scale consistent with the possible sets of values for the parameters of the constant ratio elasticity of substituion production function. (Author)
