Mechanism of Remagnetization in Thin Permalloy Tapes,

Abstract

A model of the magnetization reversal in thin permalloy tapes has been investigated under the condition of a linear time function of the magnetizing field. An analytical description of the model, valid in the above mentioned case, has been presented. The experiments have been carried out in which the torodal cores would up from 3 micron Mo permally tape (79 percent Ni, 17 percent Fe, 4 percent Mo) were used. It has been demonstrated that the characteristics of the reversal time obtained as a function of the rate of rise of magnetizing field are in good argeement with the analytical results pertaining to the proposed model.
