Rubber Research: The Synthesis of Unsaturated Fluorocarbons.

Abstract

The report presents the synthesis of the following compounds which are intermediates in the synthesis of CF3CF=CH2: CF30CFH-CF2-O-CH3, CF3-CFH-CO2CH3; CF3-CFH-CH2OH. Also studied were reactions of fluoroolefins (CF2=CFCl; CF2=CCl2, CF3CF=CF2) with NO and NOCl.
