Montana Large Aperture Seismic Array

Abstract

The technical activity associated with the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Montana Large Aperture Seismic Array (LASA) during the period 1 December 1971 - 29 February 1972 is related in this report. The short- period (SP) and long-period (LP) seismograph sensitivity performance statistics are indicated. Elimination of the microbarograph data from the sensors in the B, C and D-ring subarrays is reported. Performance of the SP seismograph calibration oscillators is discussed. A new PDP-7 program for remote measurement of RA-5 amplifier gain and SP seismometer output is described.
