Electronic Structure and Thermoelectric Properties of Transition Metal Compounds (Elektronnoe Stroenie i Termoelektricheskie Svoistva Soedinenii Perekhodnykh Metallov),

Abstract

Relationship between thermoelectric properties and electron structure of transition element compounds is considered. It is concluded that thermoelectric properties of transition element compounds can be explained only by allowing for the multi-band status of electron zones. First-approximation information can be obtained from theoretical group analysis of symmetry of the nearest neighborhood of atoms. (Author)
