Binary Addressable Scan-Conversion Storage Tube.

Abstract

The objective of the contract is to conduct a research and development program leading to the fabrication, testing, and delivery of a binary-addressable scan-converter storage tube. The tube is to be capable of simultaneous write and non-destructive read operation at video frequency up to 10 megahertz. An electron optical analysis of the beam-focusing within the digitizer matrix was performed for the purpose of most effectively controlling the flow of write-electrons to the storage-target and at the same time conserving digitizer drive-power.
