Initiation Characteristics and Explosive Action at i Deistviya Vzryva pri Bolshikh Gidrostaticheskikh Davleniyakh),

Abstract

Explosive initiation at increased hydrostatic pressure takes place through a transfer of the detonation from the hermetic fuse (explosive cartridge) to the main charge of the mechanism. The conducting medium is water, a borax solution, oil. The authors investigate the possible effect of the conditions which are active in the blast hole on detonation transfer. (Author)
