Evaluating Adhesives for Building Construction.

Abstract

The paper outlines a proposed testing program to insure proper selection and use of adhesives in building construction. It requires a lot of testing, but only if an adhesive has unlimited potential for the most critical uses. In actual practice, it would be advisable to make the first measurements at the extremes of temperature and moisture conditions suggested. This would determine whether the adhesive should even be considered in applications for critical use. (Author)
