Abstract
The standardization department and its representatives in other technical services are constantly working to promote the maximum use of standard parts and assemblies in engine manufacture. Where standard parts cannot be used, the standardization department seeks to reduce the number of special parts and to introduce standard dimensions in special parts. (Author)
