Propagation of Waves in Laminar Visco-Elastic Medium (Rasprostranenie Voln v Sloistoi Vyazko-Uprugoi Srede),

Abstract

The dispersion equation which determines the wave number of a laminar medium is analyzed for elastic shear waves. The case when the material of one of the layers possesses visco-elastic properties is examined using the theory of elastic heredity. (Author-PL)
