Mechanical Properties and Structure of Some Titanium Alloys after Thermomechanical Treatment,

Abstract

The study was done with the following Ti alloys of industrial origin, which represent all known type of Ti alloys: (1) single phase alpha Ti VT1, (2) 3 phase alloy of martensite type OT4, (3) 2 phase alloys VT6S and VT14 in which the high temperature phase can be partially fixed at room temperature, (4) single phase beta alloy VT15, and complex alloy ST1 intended for temperatures less than or equal to 700 degrees.
