Device for Filling Aircraft Landing Gear Shock Struts with Hydraulic Fluid,

Abstract

A microfiche of the abstract contains graphic information about filling aeroplane shock absorbers with hydraulic fluid. The device consists of a conduit along which liquid flows from the tank to the shock absorber pillar with a pump and its conduit connected to a source of compressed air. The new device increases the accuracy of the dose during the filling action, and saves the unnecessary time spent during the filling. The dosing device is mounted in the liquid conduit and cooperates with a two position hydraulic switch. (Author)
