Cermet Antifriction Material,

Abstract

The iron base title material contains a solid lubricating agent. To increase the wear resistance during operation of the material in unlubricated mountings subjected to friction, barium chloride is used as the solid lubricating agent. The title material consists of 10 to 15 wt. percent barium chloride and 90 to 85 wt. percent iron. (Author)
