Removal of Baked on Aluminized Silicone Paint. Phase I,
Abstract
A safe and practical procedure for the removal of baked-on aluminized silicone paint used for coating R1820 engines is described. Factors affecting the removability rate of this paint system, such as the metal surface finishes and heat-cycle conditions are also included. (Author)
