The Study of One Three Dimensional Mixed Problem of the Theory of Steady Vibrations (Izuchenie Odhoi Prostranstvennoi Smeshannoi Zadachi Teorii Ustranovivshikhsya Kolebanii),

Abstract

Let an elastic medium fill a finite domain V which is limited to the closed surface of the Lyapunov S, for which the normal component of the stress vector and the tangent component of the displacement vector are given; and let it be necessary to define the field of the stresses in domain V during the oscillations of the medium which have been established. The proposed problem is reduced to the problem of finding out in domain V the solution of the differential equations of the established oscillations. In the present article, with thehelp of a method resembling one offered by D. I. Sherman, the proposed problem is reduced to Fredgol'm's integral equations which are solved, except for a discrete set of values of parameter omega. (Author)
