On the Influence of the Stress State on the Character of Rupture of Transparent Polymers by a Laser Beam (O Vliyanii Napryazhennogo Sostoyaniya na Kharakter Razrusheniya Prozrachnyk Polimerov Luchem Lazera),

Abstract

Results are presented of theoretical analysis and experimental investigations of the effects of stretching and compressing forces applied to transparent polymers, the polymethylacrylate and polystyrene in particular, on the rupture of their material by a laser beam. (Author)
