An Interface Between the SAI-42 Correlation and Probability Analyzer and the ASR-33 Teletypewriter Set.

Abstract

The purpose of the interface device is to make possible the collection or storage of data from a laboratory instrument in punched paper tape format, suitable for subsequent transmission to a digital computer. Important aspects of the interface design are presented and problems encountered in this design are discussed. The micrologic digital design is presented and its operation discussed. (Author)
