Output of a Multiplier Given Two Noisy Inputs,

Abstract

The output of a multiplier is determined for two noisy inputs of the form V sub i1(t) = K sub 1 sin omega sub 0 + n sub 1(t) and V sub i2(t) = K sub 2 sin omega sub 0 (t + T sub 0) + n sub 2(t) where n sub 1(t) and n sub 2(t) are band-pass, stationary, white-noise processes of zero mean that have Gaussian amplitude distributions. The output signal-to-noise ratio is calculated for a low-pass output. (Author)
