Pneumatic Tires with a Detachable Thread for Means of Transport,

Abstract

A pneumatic tire with removable tread comprises body with tightly fitted tread ring with a nonelastic strip, differing in that the seating surfaces of body and tread are in the form of stepped conical surfaces. The diameters of the central parts of the body and tread ring on these surfaces are reducing towards the axis of symmetry. The side conical surfaces have a reverse incline. This gives a more reliable fit and greater side rigidity. (Author)
