Some Results of Investigating 'Marburg Virus' (Rhabdovirus simiae)

Abstract

Marburg virus (Rhabdovirus simiae) is an arbovirus. Morphologically, it is like Rhabdovieren. However, there is no antigen similarity to other known arbo viruses. Marburg virus infection is characterized by fever, exanthema, hemorrhaging, damage to the liver, kidneys, and intestines, blood changes, and high mortality.
