Development of a Discrete Address Beacon System.

Abstract

The report describes activities in Development of a Discrete Address Beacon System funded by the Federal Aviation Administration. It is the first Quarterly Technical Summary of this program, covering the period 1 January 1972 to 31 March 1972. The activities include initial studies pertaining to the coordination of grouped sensors, characterization of link interference, and interrogator monopulse antenna design. Other efforts were initiated preparatory to implementing an RF link test facility at Lincoln Laboratory. (Author)
