Thermal Expansion of Group IV, V, and VI Refractory Metal Solid Solutions,

Abstract

As a result of investigating the thermal expansion of solid solutions for refractory metals of groups IV, V and VI of the periodic system, it was established that on the curves for relationship of thermal expansion coefficient to composition no minimums or maximums were observed which are inherent to alloys with ferromagnetic anomaly or to alloys in which the sigma-phase is formed.
