The Development and Evaluation of Output Measures for the Standard Air Force Base Supply Organization.

Abstract

To fully accomplish the objectives established by the Resources Management System, output measures should be established at Responsibility Center/Cost Center levels within the Air Force. In the study output measures for the base supply organization have been developed using fourteen selection criteria previously established. The output measures were then evaluated through the use of regression analysis and direct application against actual data. The general uses and limitations of output measures were also discussed. It was discovered that since all costs were not being charged to many of the organizations, error was resulting from the output measure analysis being performed. (Author)
