Computer Equipment for Production Control (Selected Articles),
Abstract
The control of enterprises and branches of industry is in a contemporary stage of economic construction in the USSR. The economic reform of the Soviet Union establishes a new system of economic methods. This change of management of industry allows a more effective organization of the control of enterprises on a country-wide scale. The following features are discussed: the mechanization and automation of the collection and processing of information in automated systems for the control of enterprises (ore-concentration combine, logical processes, oil refineries) for processing information on the 'Minsk-23' computer, a reliable information -control of a computer complex, development of input information, designing of digital computers, structural synthesis of digital computers, systems for receiving and transmitting information retrieval.
